Arguably the most prolific theater director alive, Jack O’ Brien, met a young first time playwright named Alan Fox in the fall of 2018 when he attended a reading of his play at their shared agency. This led to a collaboration between the two, Safe Space, at the Bay Street Theater in the summer of 2019.  

 

The play didn’t take off, but their friendship did…
