Theater legend Jack O’ Brien met a young, first-time playwright named Alan Fox in the fall of 2018 when he attended a reading of his play Safe Space. This led to a full collaboration on Fox's play at Bay Street Theater in the summer of 2019.  

 

The play didn’t take off -- but their friendship did.
